Bungie has released new information on how weapons, mods, and abilities will be changing in the coming weeks.
During today’s Destiny 2: Forsaken Combat Stream, Bungie confirmed some of these updates will take effect August 28, and the rest will be added when Forsaken comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 4. More details will be revealed at Gamescom and PAX, later this year.
Overall time-to-kill is being reduced, with weapon and ability damage being increased accordingly. Body damage and precision damage will be increased, and two consecutive melee hits will now kill a Guardian at full health. Shoulder charge, shield bash, and hammer strike abilities will also become one-hit kills.
